Cincinnati Reds superstar Elly De La Cruz continues to collect base hits vs. the Colorado Rockies, launching his 10th homer of the season. Cincy took the victory on Tuesday, improving their record to 19-10, as they lead the National League Central with two games remaining in April.
De La Cruz is hitting .291 to start the season, with 10 home runs and 34 RBI. He’s two blasts behind the Yankees’ Aaron Judge and White Sox newcomer Munetaka Murakami (who each have 12) for the Major League lead in homers.
