Golden State caught fire collectively, shooting 15‑of‑20 from the field and 8‑of‑11 from three in the final frame, with Draymond Green sealing the win by coming up with two clutch steals down the stretch. With the 126-121 win on Wednesday, the Warriors advance in the NBA’s play-in tournament.
38-year-old Steph Curry scored 11 of 35 points in the final down the stretch, showing flashes of the man who led a dynastya decade ago.
“This is why Steph came back,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said following the game. “Everyone out there who thought Steph should take the rest of the year off — this is what he does. This is who he is.”
After defeating the Clippers 126–121, the Warriors now head to Phoenix to face the Suns for the 8th seed and the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs.
