After trailing by five runs earlier in the game, the Seattle Mariners stormed back and walked it off in the bottom of the 9th in an 8-7 victory over the Houston Astros on Friday night (April 11).
The Mariners, the defending champions in the American League West, are off to a bit of a slow start this season, currently out of the gate at 6-9. However, the M’s have taken the first two games of the series against Houston (also 6-9), who they will face once again on Sunday afternoon in the middle of the two teams’ four-game set.
