With Florida finally receiving an MLB franchise in Miami, the team showed off its new uniforms

On July 8, 1992, the Florida Marlins let the world know how they would be suited up when they debuted the following year. The team introduced their original black and green teal jerseys, as well as a sharp logo on the cap, featuring a Marlin leaping through a stylized ‘F’ on the cap.
Since then, the team has not only switched uniforms on multiple occasions, but also the franchise’s name. They were eventually re-christened as the Miami Marlins with a different color scheme and look. However, many of their long-time fans still clamor for the initial outerwear, which the team has brought back on special ‘throwback’ days.
