Since the early days of The Attitude Era, two of WWE‘s biggest icons, The Rock and Triple H, have seemingly always been at odds. Over several years, the pair fought over championships and had backstage heat for a long time, but their rivalry apparently took its toll on WrestleMania 41, damaging WWE’s most important night of the year. With Triple H now running the creative content for WWE and The Brahma Bull sitting on the Board of Directors for its parent company, TKO Sports, their conflict may irreversibly damage the WWE product.
While The Rock’s return to the WWE fold has been entertaining at times, it’s also been a little confusing. His involvement (or lack thereof) with WrestleMania 41 led many to believe he purposely tanked the show, due to not getting everything he wanted in the end.
